Kodansha Comics began publishing the manga digitally in English on August 14, and it describes the series:
Tough gangland retribution takes a disturbingly bright, shiny turn in this insanely guilty pleasure about 3 yakuzas who, as repayment for their failures, must undergo major surgery and become … a hot female idol trio! So what happens when they become the next big pop sensation!?
The manga launched in Kodansha‘s Weekly Young Magazine in March 2015, and ended on September 15. Kodansha published the manga’s 11th compiled volume on June 6. The manga has more than 450,000 copies in print.
The manga inspired a television anime adaptation that premiered in Japan on July 3. Netflix launched the anime in the United States on December 12.
